Buffet lunch @ Wasabe

Following my weekend in Ipoh, i took the liberty of eating around and one of the places wirth mentioning is this one japanese cuisine buffet restaurant, Wasabe. Situated at 1 casuarina cooperate park just beside the famous night club De Nest, this restaurant is in fact quite hidden from view. It was however an unexpected visit as there was no prior planning to take a heavy lunch.

The buffet lunch is only 38 per pax and is from 12 pm - 3 pm.

There is mainly the sushi, sashimi section, teppanyaki section and desserts. They were also promoting Japanese steamboat that consists of a bowl of udon, tofu and vegies.

Not delicious and not recommended and above all forgot to take picture of the ingredients~ xD

Next up came my favorite part... Sashimi! i ordered raw tuna, white tuna and salmon.

The salmon and white tuna was nice but the tuna was very disgusting and fishy. had to really apply lots of wasabi on it ~ xD

I remebered ordering few more plates of sashimi...huhuhu :P
The tempura section were not bad too. forgotten to take picture... save for fried soft shell crab-

there were actually plenty more, but i forgotten to take pictures as i was too busy gobbling down all the food...lol. the drink were self-serve type as were the desserts. they had jellies and even red beans. The shop is has quite decent settings but the light is too dim. the service is good at first but the waiter ignores me as more customer came. Overall i had a great time overeating and the price is deinitely not bad for Japanese cuisine. :)
