Gunpowder, treason and plot,
I know of no reason why gundpowder, treason... eh?
Should ever be forgotten...?
Haha, yeah perhaps you will remember the above speech and yes, after watching V for Vendetta recently, i am so fired up to.... CoOk. :P
Perhaps u remember the part where V was cooking for Evey in the morning-
and the delicious looking eggie in a basket-
which looked so nice and perfectly done.
Thus on this most auspicious of day, permit me then, in lieu of the commonplace soubriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis.. eh? haha i mean cook this eggie in a basket.
So all i need is
-butter
-eggs
-bread
-salt & pepper
and the way to cook it is first use a cup to create the hole in a middle of the bread. Butter both side of bread and fry it on the pan. Put extra butter in the middle of the hole and sprinkle some salt and pepper before break an egg over it. Flip the bread to the other side when one side is cooked and cook it till golden brown and serve hot.
And the outcome of my first try is...
which was not quite the eggie i wanted as the egg actually flow out to the sides of the bread...
and the 2nd try which fails too when i made the hole in the middle too small and the egg yolk mixed when i flip the bread. 3rd try was not much better albeit a bigger hole made and finally the 4th one-
side a
side b
which is much better! yeah, definitely have the shape already. All i need is perfecting the shape and controlling the taste of it. But of course, enough for the day cause if there is any lesson worth learning here other than cooking method, it is not to practice cooking in the morning. Feels extremely full now after consuming FOUR eggie in a basket!!! T~T
Well then, i shall be back for more vendetta, ah i meant eggie. xD Try it out, you don't have to wear a Fawksian mask to be able to cook it! :D
